On May 10, 2009 John Cale will bring Life Along The Borderline, a tribute to the life and music of Nico, to Teatro Comunale in Ferrara, Italy. Jonathan, Grasshopper & Jeff  are honored to be sharing the stage with John Cale for this very special evening. Mercury Rev are pleased to announce that they will be part of the line-up for Camp Bestival 2009. While the exact date & time of the Rev’s show has not been confirmed, we can tell you that the festival will take place July 24,25 & 26 at Lulworth Castle in Dorset. Mercury Rev is set to appear as the featured guest on National Public Radio’s World Café with David Dye, Wednesday Dec. 17. The band will perform on the exclusive Lillywhite Sessions with influential producer Steve Lillywhite (U2, Dave Matthews Band, Peter Gabriel). 

The performance will be broadcast on nearly 200 NPR affiliate stations.  Click here to find your local NPR station, or stream it live on Philadelphia’s WXPN at 2 p.m. (EST) Dec. 17. You can also listen to the archived session after the initial broadcast at the Lillywhite Sessions Web site.

The band is scheduled to appear on KCRW’s popular “Morning Becomes Eclectic” broadcast Tuesday, December 16 at 11:15 a.m. PST. Listeners can stream the band’s appearance live from KCRW’s Web Site.
